For this update:
I know that many may be wondering why in the past few weeks or so it seems that I have just been surfing dA commenting or to some feel like I’ve disappeared off the face of the planet, but the following explanations should make things clear. I’ll start by listing a few reasons as to where my time is spent:
- School – Yes, I’m nearing the end of my final year before I start university and while I already have chosen a university I’m maintaining the least amount of effort possible to keep a decent enough average to attain an entrance scholarship. So yes, June will be a moderately busy month for me school wise, but it’s not the only reason why I’m busy.
- Hanging out - Well I’m trying to spend as much time with my friends before we head off to different universities, with some staying on campus meaning once the new year begins it’ll be harder to hang out so I’m trying the best I’ve can.
- Creativity Slump - Yes, it’s happened at times before and it has happened again; I’ve lost my incentive to creative new pieces and I have a few concepts sitting around barley begun or not even in planning stages. I hope I can work through this as time goes on.
While those are only 3 reasons as to why work hasn’t been put up, there are other reasons and I’m not in any position to release all the little issues involved, the former 3 should suffice. While this all may seem gloomy, there is still a chance for my “spurts of creativity”, hell, a new deviation could be put in the next 15 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day or even a week, you don’t know and I don’t even know.

The Following Is Important News From My Previous Journal:
1. I was able to complete another concept using a light-type beam of energy which is apparent in my latest piece called Pulse. In the future I will be considering redoing this piece to fit another design which I scraped for the current version of the piece.
2. I was able to complete my 3 piece series entitled The Rise of a Planet. I enjoyed working on it and I’m thankful for all the support and praise those pieces have received. I like to thank everyone for that. You can view the 3 pieces and the cover-piece for the series here:

There’s two ways you can be featured:
1. Send me a note explaining in a few lines why you feel you should be ‘spotlighted’ and send a link to one of your deviations which you think you really put your soul into.
2. The second way is through the comments. In every handful of comments I usually get a comment from someone who really explains what a deviation of mine might mean to them and then also offers tips for any discrepancies. If I feel your words hold above average merit I’ll consider you as a candidate.

I know about the creativity slumps where life intrudes, I have several characters drumming their fingers on quantum tables in my mind talking about how I need to get my arse busy and get them to their destinations (good news is I provided a beer and lounge rather than making them hang in that valley above the battlefield)
Enjoy the school and the friends, take lots of fotos, and enjoy the time before college -- one day you'll look back and say "dang, I almost forgot when I did that..."
