U26:FTML - An update that may not be 'up' to 'date'

What's What...

You know, the scary thing is, that, since Fall Of The Phoenix I haven’t put up anything at all, but you already knew that didn’t you? I mean you wouldn’t be reading journal if you didn’t follow my work, heh. Well I’ll pretty much say it now that I’m in the midst of pretty much the biggest creative slump I’ve been in ever, even bigger than many I’ve had. I’m just really unmotivated and feeling uncreative for many reasons. First of all, I don’t have a ton of time like I did in May/June-ish, work and my class take up some days. Add some hi-low issues involving people around you and you’ve got yourself a frying pan of weird stuff.

Hey, you never know, I can break out of this slump at any time, I don’t even know when that could be: now, before I finish this journal, a day, a week, a month, etc, but I will. I mean right now I don’t even want to attempt work on anything at all. The thing I hate though is that the Next *Attrius artpack is coming in early August, and I mean damn, I want to be a part of it, and I’m hoping I’ll be able to if I can get started on something and is motivated to continue. Iunno, I should really do a collab, that way half the work is already done heheh. So, to all my watchers, I hope to get new stuff sometime soon, until then enjoy what I already have. I mean sit back with a drink and browse, a simple page switch can show how far I’ve come and how far I’ve got to go; comment, fav, view, it’s up to you. So stay sharp.

What's What...

I'm not dead, but busy and lazy. I just finally cleared up a backlog of messages and new deviations so I should be more textually active.

Attrius

To anyone who doesn’t already know, the first art pack for *Attrius has been released, dedicated to the passing of the brother of ~Azaezello This pack represents much to all of the members. So check it out and prepare to be amazed.

Submission

My submission for the pack was a collab between myself and =AngelAsylum. It was submitted for the section of All Stars End and an apophysis render I pulled out kinda looked like a bird. With a lot of cloning and erasing I was able to make it look more like a bird/phoenix and was able to add it to Angel’s awesome landscape to create something truly homage paying to Azaezello’s brother. 'The Arrival - Attrius' - U24:FTML

Well it’s another update for everyone. :D Just a few things I want to clear up and get out there. Well, onto business:

First thing I want to say is that very recently I passed the 15 400 page view mark with a total of more than 32 380 deviation views and a stunning 203 watches. I have no one else to thank but all of you who :+devwatch:, :+fav:, and support my work. Thank you all. :D

For this update:

<1.> It’s almost here! The first Art Pack from ~Attrius is going to be released within one week from today. We have many artists who are combining their efforts to make this Art Pack top quality. I personally am working with =AngelAsylum on a collab that will make you all cry in joy. So check him out and rape him with favs and comments, don’t forget to do that for all the other members of this crew, it’s well worth it. Be sure to also watch the club account, you don’t want to be left behind once it comes out.

<2.> I was really happy with the outcome of Gambit and that is even more fortified by the amount of favs and comments I’ve got for that piece. I’m glad you all enjoyed it.

<3.> Finally, through out laziness, =DemosthenesVoice and I were finally able to complete our much anticipated Collab. It was well received and we will for sure in the future do more.

<4.> I have updated my Planet Exploration Series after a long hiatus and I will continue adding to the series as I go. I may once I reach a decent amount in the series release the pieces as a Series Art Pack, I’ll see as I go.

There’s two ways you can be featured:

1. Send me a note explaining in a few lines why you feel you should be ‘spotlighted’ and send a link to one of your deviations which you think you really put your soul into.

2. The second way is through the comments. In every handful of comments I usually get a comment from someone who really explains what a deviation of mine might mean to them and then also offers tips for any discrepancies. If I feel your words hold above average merit I’ll consider you as a candidate.
