Well this piece is just out there as I don’t think it’s a really good piece, just decent. This piece is called Sapphire Amor and its concept is: blue. I wanted lots of blue initially so I went ahead and made a planet with no signs of surface terrain, thus producing a water planet. It was fun to make and it’s a resultant of some random work. The background (electric flare) was done 2-3 weeks ago cause I was bored and thought I will find a use for it some other time and I have. Well enjoy.

I’ve been busy lately and the work isn’t letting up. I’ve been blessed with some free time, but I still have no desire to start on the two different concepts mentioned in my previous journal entry (one being the rework and the other the new 3 piece concept). I have regained some of my incentive to work on art (thankfully) and it is getting better every day.

Wow no way! That almost looks like earth. Very nice technique of covering the land mass. That is a very good blue. It looks like the planet is giving out energy. I tried to do that once, But I didn't fare so well. As Inspecter Gadget would say "Wowsers!"

Why thank you very much. I'm glad to liked it. The challenge was to first create the planet with the land masses so that it looks earth-like, then to hide the layers and work with the water to hide the outlines of the landmasses. The energy-type effect is a hidden radial explosion effect.

I'm glad you like it.

Wow its great, I really like it

Seems nice. I like the electricity surrounding the planet, and it seems like the planet is eclipsing something. Pretty.
:icondemonstreasure:
OMFG!! that is BEAUTYFUL!!!! wow!!

Beauty is in everyliving thing... It's up to you to find it, and set it free...
:iconphantomfan:
It's not perfect, but it's still really good. I love it to be honest. ^^

Wow.. I love it! It DOES look like earth- alienated and alone. The glowing effect is terrific, I think it looks like it's eclipsing also- It's just beautiful.

And you don't think this is a really good piece? Are you the overly self critic, or the eccentric mad scientist? Don't rip me a new one... :censored: But I think your fans have more faith in you than you realize.

K. I'm done sounding like a fortune cookie.
