Artist's Comments

I made many minor changes to this piece. Added lots of blending (burn, dodge, etc) and some more filters here and there.

Well this is something I’m proud of. I’ve worked on this piece on and off for a few months and it was mostly a testing concept that turned into a full fledge piece. This piece was initially started with many cloud stocks over-layered on each other with various blending and other effects. Then followed were various testing phases of blending in some custom fractals in various areas to add more depth. Once that was done I started brush low opacity areas to add flow between sections as well as to touch up lighting issues. Next was working with various tools including sharpen, smudging, and a lot of saturation/desaturation to make the piece look like an authentic NASA photo. A lot more post work followed in addition to stars, etc. Enjoy.
